Every ARRMA box shouts a speed number. The trick is knowing which number goes with which battery, which pinion and which conditions. This chart puts the rated top speed of every current ARRMA car and truck listed on Horizon Hobby in one place, sorted by power system, with a one-line answer for each model.

Quick answer: The highest ARRMA rating is the LIMITLESS 120 8S at 120+ MPH, and Horizon ties that number to the supplied center spool and trim aero package. Next come the LIMITLESS 6S roller (110+ MPH with recommended electronics), the FELONY 6S and INFRACTION 6S (80+ MPH), the TALION 6S EXB (75+ MPH) and the TYPHON 6S buggies (70+ MPH). Most 223S trucks are rated 35+ MPH on 2S and 50+ MPH on 3S. The brushed GROM and GORGON models are rated 20+ MPH.

How This Chart Was Built

This is a spec-sheet roundup, not a speed test. Every speed below is the “Top Speed” figure or speed wording on the official Horizon Hobby product page for that model, checked on Nov 6, 2026. Nothing here was measured with a GPS. Where Horizon attaches conditions to a number, such as a 6S LiPo, an included speed pinion or “optimum conditions”, the chart says so.

  • “50+” means the rating, not a promise. It is the speed Horizon says the vehicle is capable of under the stated setup.
  • Prices and stock are a snapshot. They are the Horizon listings on Nov 6, 2026 for the base RTR version. They change often, so check the product page before you buy.
  • Only current listings. Models Horizon showed as discontinued, plus older 6S trucks that did not come up as RTRs when checked, are left out of the main charts.

Why Your ARRMA Might Not Hit the Number on the Box

A rated top speed is a ceiling under specific conditions. Horizon’s own wording shows what moves it:

  • Cell count. The 223S trucks drop from 50+ to 35+ MPH on 2S. A 6S truck run on 4S will not see its 6S number. Our Kv guide explains how Kv and voltage set motor RPM.
  • Gearing. The FELONY and INFRACTION 6S ratings assume the included speed pinion, and the TYPHON 6S rating assumes an optional pinion that is not in the box. The LIMITLESS 120 jumps from 70+ to 100+ MPH on a pinion swap.
  • Setup and aero. The LIMITLESS 120 only reaches its 120+ rating with the center spool and aero package installed.
  • “Optimum conditions.” Horizon uses this phrase on several pages. Surface, temperature, battery health and tire choice all matter, which is general RC behavior, not a measured result for any one model.
  • Throttle limiting. Many ARRMA radios let you cap throttle at 50% or 75%. Check that switch before blaming the motor.

If you want to know what your car actually does, a GPS speed meter is the only honest way to check. Our GPS speed meter guide compares options. For ways to add speed safely, see how to make your RC car faster. For the record-chasing side of RC, our world’s fastest RC car guide covers the 300 MPH club, and our top ARRMA RC cars list ranks the lineup on more than speed.

Which ARRMA Should You Pick for Speed?

  • Straight-line speed runs: the LIMITLESS 120 8S RTR, or the LIMITLESS 6S roller if you want to pick your own electronics.
  • Fast street bashing with a ready-to-run box: FELONY 6S or INFRACTION 6S at 80+ MPH, or the INFRACTION 223S at 65+ MPH on 2S or 3S for less money.
  • Fast off-road with big air: TALION 6S EXB (75+), TYPHON 6S (70+) or KRATON 6S (65+).
  • First fast truck: any 223S model gives you 35+ MPH on 2S to learn on and 50+ MPH on 3S when you are ready.
