Arrma Cars Reviews is run by Ryder Kingsley — we go by RoostKing around the pits and on the forums. We’re long-time RC enthusiasts: bashers and racers who tear up dirt, asphalt, and whatever else is in the way, then wrench the broken bits back into fighting shape.

We write about ARRMA and other hobby-grade RC cars the way we talk about them with friends at the track: what actually matters when you’re buying, upgrading, repairing, or deciding whether a “must-have” part is worth the money. Expect practical buying guides, upgrade paths, repair walkthroughs, and model comparisons — not glossy brochure copy.

What you’ll find here

  • Buying guides that weigh size class, power system, surface, and budget without talking down to you
  • Upgrade and parts write-ups aimed at real breakage points, not shopping lists for the sake of shopping
  • Repair and troubleshooting guides for common chassis, electronics, and drivetrain issues
  • Comparisons between popular ARRMA platforms (and the odd rival) so you can pick a lane

How our guides are made

We research from manufacturer specs, owner feedback, and community sources — the same places serious RC people already haunt. Drafts are AI-assisted to move faster, then edited by us for accuracy, tone, and usefulness. We do not invent hands-on test claims, race wins, or “we owned this for three years” stories we can’t back up. If we haven’t bashed a specific setup ourselves, we say what the evidence says and leave the hype on the shelf.

Affiliate disclosure

Arrma Cars Reviews is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you buy through our Amazon links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income helps keep the lights on and the content free. We don’t let the commission decide what we recommend; if a part is a bad fit, we’ll say so.

Corrections

RC platforms, part numbers, and firmware change. If something in a guide is wrong, outdated, or unclear, tell us. We’ll review it and fix the page when the correction checks out. Prefer a short note with the URL, what’s wrong, and a source if you have one.
